Strangely, both will have novelty factors also and not just dual SIM capabilities. Apparently, Motorola EX115 will come with GPRS, a 3 MP camera, bluetooth v2.1 and 3.5mm headset jack.

Motorola Milestone 2

Saída do Google da China e o Futuro da Motorola

Se o Google sair da China, vai abrir um debate mundial sobre se uma empresa pode fechar os olhos a um governo tirânico como o da China e lucrar ajudando um governo da tirânico.

Em tempos ruins, onde as ditaduras se espalham pelo mundo o Google terá que repensar suas ações frente ao seu lema “don't be evil”. Ações verdadeiras a um custo financeiro gigantesco ou demagogia pura?

A pergunta que deixo é se um debate dessas proporções não afetará outras empresas também? Se o debate ético ocorrer entre não entrar em mercados que limitem a liberdade de expressão, afetará outras empresas?

Mesmo que o debate não ocorra, a briga do Google com a China pode levar a um rompimento da Motorola com o Android.

Motorola que afirmou que o foco em 2010 será o Windows Mobile 7, e já se submeteu ao controle do governo chinês, talvez seja forçada a abandonar os negócios com o Google caso haja o rompimento total do Google com a China.

Tudo isso não muda o que eu acredito sobre o real futuro da Motorola. Seja Windows Mobile ou o Android, a Motorola está no buraco e de lá não sai. A pergunta é: Quanto tempo a parte superavitária da Motorola irá arrastar a divisão de celulares?

Nokia Corta Preços de Smartphones e Complica os Demais Fabricantes.

O Corte de preços nos aparelhos inteligentes, não complica apenas os fabricantes como a Sony que se foca em aparelhos medianos, mas ataca todos os concorrentes. Essa noticia é ruim Sony, LG e principalmente para a Samsung e Motorola e deixo minhas razões.

A queda nos preços afeta fabricantes como a Sony Ericsson que se focaram em
telefones com atributos medianos, que geralmente trazem boas câmeras ou players
de música, mas carecem de funções mais parecidas com as de computadores.

Esse trecho da noticia reflete bem a realidade, o mesmo valendo para LG.

A medida também pega Samsung no contra pé enquanto ela produz o BADA. Ocupa mercado antes do lançamento do sistema da Samsung no meio do ano, enquanto a Coreana gasta milhões em seu sistema operacional.

Entretanto quem mais vai sangrar com a Medida é a divisão de celulares da Motorola, ao baixar os preços dos smartphones, ela obrigará a Motorola a fazer o mesmo caso seus telefones não tragam diferencial grande diferencial (o que eu duvido muito nessa altura), diminuindo a margem de lucro sobre a venda, tornando ainda mais complicada a situação da divisão de celulares da concorrente, que precisa desesperadamente lucrar.

A estratégia não poderia ser melhor nesse cenário, diminuir a margem e ganhar no volume. Pena que o setor de marketing e o jurídico da Nokia não sejam tão redondos quanto o setor de planejamento.

O Caso do Google e o Debate Sobre Liberdade

Enquanto o Google vai ensaiando sair da China por não aceitar a censura do governo Chinês, a empresa vai censurando os palavrões em seu identificador do voz, contraditório? Talvez, porem o Google fez um grande favor, que foi reabrir o debate sobre Telecom e Censura.

Já deixei clara a minha opinião sobre isso nos blogs e repito, nem tudo é valido por dinheiro e por isso apoio que o Google pegue suas coisas e pule fora de lá.

Porem o Google se quiser turbinar a sua moral como empresa defensora da liberdade, terá que começar a parar de achar que pode educar as pessoas ao censurar palavrões, censura não se combate com censura.

Qual o próximo passo do Google? Censurar fotos e vídeos da câmera? Ou será a expansão do BREW (da Qualcomm) no Android?

No ritmo que estamos alguém vai perguntar por que não CDMA 2000? Teremos streaming de vídeos melhores e uma criptografia mais segura, assim como a navegação web EM TROCA DE APENAS as seguintes liberdades: 1) O fato de não sermos donos dos nossos aparelhos, 2) Termos nosso bluetooth, infravermelho, mp3 e Java bloqueados e qualquer dispositivo de compartilhamento bloqueado.

A Motorola, desesperada por dinheiro para divisão de celulares, já aceitou o controle da Ditadura Chinesa, O Google vai fazer o que com a sua parceira de Android? Deixar por isso mesmo?

E a querida secretária de estado dos Estados Unidos Hilary Clinton, após anunciar medidas contra as ditaduras (sic) vai fazer o que com a Motorola? Ou estaria a Motorola apenas se disfarçando no território inimigo, para cumprir a missão de disseminar secretamente aplicativos libertadores prometidos pela secretária?

A luta pela liberdade nunca termina, pois se a tecnologia tem o potencial de libertar os seres Humanos, também o tem para tirar a liberdade dos Homens, já que ela é uma ferramenta e não atua por si só.

Liberdade não está à venda nos blogs em que escrevo, vou defender e acredito que outras pessoas também vão defende-lá.
