Sony Ericsson to bring Windows 7 phones by 2011

In a fascinating revelation, Sony Ericsson CEO, Bert Nordberg has announced that the world class handset maker will launch their Windows 7 based phones by next year i.e. 2011. Sony Ericsson Android operating system based handsets are already booming the market and counts for 19% market share. The company plans to take over the market with Microsoft’s new OS, WP7 as well before its too late. Companies such as HTC, Dell, Samsung and LG have already launched handsets based on WP7 in the Indian handset market.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8To a name a few, these are LG Optimus 7 & Optimus 7Q, HTC HD7, HTC 7 Mozart and Samsung Omnia 7. Hopefully, the company will expand its profits via this venture as the smartphone market is on a high in India and the graph is going up only. The feature phones market is on a decline and Sony Ericsson's intentions are quite obvious that it wants to catch up with the latest trend. Windows 7 is being highly praised these days as it is quite contemporary and trendy. Some of the most wonderful features of Windows 7 OS are mentioned below.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8It features access to popular entertainment services such as Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Gaming and Microsoft’s Zune Player for music and video. The former lets users play console video games and the latter let them download and play favourite music tracks. There is an AR Application called as Scan Search which lets user gets real time information on almost every aspect such as people, news, entertainment, weather etc. etc. Some analysts argue that delaying the launch would be disadvantageous for Sony Ericsson and it should have been done as early as possible.

It might be that Sony comes up with some real spectacular handsets. The company, Sony Ericsson hopes to release their WP 7 based hand sets by 2011 in the market. As of now, though nothing is official but phones are expected to come out soon as per the company officials. Sony is sure to make huge profits with these Windows 7 phones manufacturing in the near future. Windows 7 phones are a craze among youth just as the Android based phones and will soon give tough competition to them.

Sony Ericsson J105 Naite Review
Sony Ericsson J105 Naite Mobile Phone arrives in attractive shades of vapour silver and ginger red. The unit was announced in 2009, May. The unit, no doubt will bowl over consumers world wide!

TFT Display supports 256K colours. Screen size of the excellent unit is 2.2 inches. You can change the wall papers and screen savers to your choice. Vibration, Downloadable polyphonic, MP3, AAC ring tones and composer are the sound alarms to alert you. Speakerphone adds to your convenience. Phone book memory of the competent unit can save up to. 30 received, dialled and missed calls records too are kept by the unit. Picture ID and Ring ID allows you to identify the caller before you pick up the phone. 100 MB Internal and micro SD (Trans Flash) up to 8GB, 2 GB are included.

One of these handsets is the Naite J105 - a relatively cheap candybar phone that sits at the bottom of the Greenheart range. It's available for as little as £60 on Pay As You Go and for free on even the cheapest contracts. Its green credentials are derived from the use of recycled plastics, water-based paints, an energy efficient display, an on-phone manual instead of a paper one, and a lower-power consumption charger (though as the phone tells you every time you unplug it, you should unplug or switch off the charger at the mains anyway to save power). All told these measures apparently result in a 15 per cent drop in the overall CO2 emissions of the phone. This is of course good to hear, though we can't help but feel a 15 per cent saving would easily be bettered simply by buying second-hand and prolonging the life of existing products. Still, if you're looking to buy a new phone, it's good to know you're doing your bit for the environment.

Being a budget phone, it's no surprise that the Naite is lacking somewhat when it comes to fit and finish. That plastic body is rather flimsy and the keypad buttons are very wobbly and overall it just doesn't feel all that solid. It's certainly not going to fall apart at the drop of a hat but it doesn't fill you with confidence. Weighing just 82g, the plastic construction does at least get you a light device and its dimensions of 108 x 47 x 13mm make it highly pocketable as well. We also rather like the simple styling with its matt black back and combination of glossy black and silver on the front.

Also, despite their wobbliness, the buttons of the keypad are relatively easy to use thanks to a neat and logical layout. The action isn't great thanks to that aforementioned wobble but there's still a discernible click so it's easy to tell when you've pressed one. In addition, the navigation buttons are a little small but again not enough to be of major concern. Overall, we found we could type at a decent pace and navigating the menus was not hampered at all by the keys.

SONY ERICSSON Xperia X2
SONY ERICSSON XPERIA X2 REVIEW
the SONY ERICSSON XPERIA X2. It´s the first Windows phone of the company, meaning it runs Windows Mobile 6.5. The panel interface we know from the X1 haunts us again, but it has been revamped and the manufacturer´s personalization pack seems to have taken over the standard Windows interface deeper. The XPERIA X2 sports 8-megapixel camera with touch focus, larger display, new keyboard and navigational keys design, plus a microUSB port. We´ve got a prototype intended for Vodafone, but it´s functional, so we will show you what to expect from the first Windows phone of Sony Ericsson.

The design of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 features small changes and the manufacturer has staked on retaining the characteristic style of the X1 and its high build quality. You will almost immediately notice the lack of the prismatic navigational keys on its face side - they are now flat and smooth and the D-Pad has been transformed into an optical pad. The size of the phone display has grown 0.2 inches and now measures the healthy 3.2”.

We're not convinced about the panels system to be honest – as although it's great in practice, it seems to stress out the 528MHz processor a little bit, like it did to a greater degree on the Xperia X1.

Sony Ericsson assured us that this was only because it's a pre-production unit, and while we've heard such claims before, we'll give them the benefit of the doubt in this case. The Windows Mobile interface is still sporting some of the nasty trademark tiny icons we really hate, such as tiny crosses in the corner of the phone to shut down application windows, which ruins things a little bit, especially when we've played with the HTC HD2 which does a bang up job of hiding it all.

But there are a lot of cool features on the Xperia X2 as well – such as being able to re-order your panels by timeline, so basically changing your home screen depending on what you'll be doing at that time. There's also a cool tiled interface that links through to other applications, and while this might not be the most constructive way at looking for the program you're after it's still nice.

And the keyboard, which has been overhauled for this release, is a lot better too, as it's no longer flush with the surface (which made it very difficult to hit indeed). This keyboard will give a lot more accuracy, we reckon, and that will be another big problem fixed from the X1 to the X2.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini proSONY ERICSSON X10 Mini Pro REVIEW
The SONY ERICSSON X10 Mini Pro takes many of the original handsets features and technology and shrinks them down into a far smaller handset with a 3.2 inch touch screen as opposed to the large 4.3 inch display of the X10, added to this is a full Qwerty slide out keyboard for those people who like to press physical buttons when entering text rather than the on-screen option.

One big difference between the new X10 Mini Pro and the previous X10 and soon to be launched Sony Ericsson X10 Mini is that the camera has been slightly downgraded from 8.1 mega pixels to 5.0, this also helps to keep the price of this new Android handset low with the initial release price slated at £249.99, compared with the £489.99 asking price of the original X10 model this is a huge discount.

The release date for the SIM Free Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro is now confirmed as May 24th 2010, the Mini version of this handset without the Qwerty keyboard is also rumoured to be launching at around the same time giving consumers a real choice of new, smaller Android phones.

The main display changes slightly from the larger model with the manufacturer using short-cuts in each corner of the screen, they claim that this makes it far easier to select features and applications just using your thumb on the smaller touch screen and these can also be personalised to your favourite programs and functions.

SONY ERICSSON SATIO
SONY ERICSSON SATIO REVIEW
Sony Ericsson Satio is a smartphone, announced by Sony Ericsson at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on 15 February 2009 as the Idou (pronounced "I do"). It was released on 7 October 2009 in the UK in 3 colour schemes: Black, Silver and Bordeaux (Red).

The focus of the phone is the high quality playback of music and video, as well as photography. The camera is located on the back of the phone, behind a slider and features a xenon flash. On the side of the phone, there is a shutter button, and a button which allows you to switch between still and video modes. Next to this is a rocker switch for zooming in and out. Also on this side is a button for playback of photos or video. The other side of the phone has a sliding lock button and a covered slot for a MicroSD card.

There is a front facing video camera on there too for all that video calling fun everyone has these days, but it's down the sides of the phone where the button frenzy really begins.

On the left-hand side is the slider for unlocking the phone (which is in just about the right place for most hands), the standard Sony Ericsson port for USB connection, charging and headphone connection (boo!). Below that lives the microSD slot, which is covered by a nice hinged flap.

Over on the right side of the phone we get the camera controls, with the zoom buttons doubling as the volume up/down keys, despite having the 'proper' zoom icons on.

Below this is the photograph playback key, allowing quick access to your snaps in both camera mode and standby. There's also a video/camera swap hard key as well, which we're trying to work out if it has another function in other applications. It appears not to.

And below that is the stylishly hewn shutter for the camera. This side of the phone is well put together, laid out in the right manner and given the Satio's penchant for touch operation, a welcome addition

Comento o Lançamento do Back Flip no Brasil.

Dados Foram Obtidos do Gartner via Idg Now.

1)Lg 2)Sony 3) Motorola 4)Samsung e 5) Nokia.

Pelo índice de, faria negócios novamente

1)Motorola 2)LG 3) Sony 4) Samsung e 5) Nokia
