Camera lacks autofocus and flash which makes a 3.2 MP snapper not that great. Swiss voice, a European mobile manufacturer, debuts in India

Switzerland based, European mobile handset-manufacturer, “Swiss voice” debuted in ever expanding Indian mobile market.

A day before, Swiss voice launched five cheap mobiles in the price range of Rs 2,999 to Rs 5,899 in India. These devices will give serious competition to other low end segment mobiles from the companies like Zen, Micromax, Karbonn and Spice.



The trend of launching feature rich phones at such an affordable prices is quite contemporary in India and suit the needs of the country where around 10 million handsets are sold every single month.

Swiss voice India has plans to sell thirty thousand mobiles in India every month.Starting with youth in northern India, Swiss voice will proceed to southern states by the next month. By the end of the year, 10 to 12 more handsets will be launched in India.

Nokia C1 & C2, cheap dual SIM mobiles to launch soon in India

There are many low-priced dual SIM mobiles available in Indian handset market these days. Be it Karbonn, Spice or Oscar, all the new brands are launching a number of dual SIM mobile phones at a very economical price. Now, its Nokia’s turn to follow the trend and handset-making giant is ready with its cheap dual SIM phones called as Nokia C1 and Nokia C2 to be launched in India by Q3 of 2010. These phones would give some serious competition to the newly released dual SIM handsets from Samsung. As a matter of fact, Samsung India has launched 5 new dual SIM models in India in the range of Rs.3200 to Rs.9600.

Both entry-level Nokia dual SIM phones will be launched simultaneously within two-three months. Interestingly, they will be very affordable as their price will fall in the low-price segment i.e below a price tag of Rs.2500. Yet, they will have an array of impressive features.

Nokia C1 & C2 would sport a FM radio and VGA camera. Besides that, their address book would be large enough to accommodate 1,000 entries. It will also have an in-built LED torch. Luxury stuff such as Nokia Life Tools service and Ovi Mail will also be integrated in these handsets.
