Motorola Droid X to launch as Motoroi X in India soon

This one is a popular mobile in US and Motorola Droid X can aptly be termed as the flagship device of Motorola in the country and works on Verizon Wireless network. The good news is that this wonderful piece of gadget, the Motorola smartphone will also launch in India soon. In India, this phone is going to launch with a different name. The reason for name change is that here it will not get Verizon branding. It is rumored that in India it will be better known as Milestone X or Motoroi X. Motoroi X will launch in the month end around 25th of November, 2010 in India. The Motoroi X (popularly known as Droid X in USA) sports some splendid features.

Motorola Droid XFor instance, it works on Android 2.2, the latest operating system with MOTOBLUR User Interface. It boasts of speedy 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM and has Flash 10.1 also pre-installed on it. It shall work at lightning speed and flawlessly for efficient performance. There is a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display (480X854 px) on the Milestone X or Motoroi X that has ensemble an 8MP camera on rear with technological advancement such as dual LED flash and 720p HD video recording.

Motorola Droid XOther rich features packed in this gadget are its 1540 mAh Li Ion battery which delivers enough talktime and 40 GB of total memory storage. The Motoroi X also has a micro-HDMI port and microSD card slot. There is GPS with A-GPS, 3G hotspot and DLNA in it. We will keep our readers updated with more news on the device like the exact launch date and price of the handset in India. As of now, no official details like the price of the handset are out except the rumored launch date.

Motorola Flipout lands in India at price of Rs. 15,990

Motorola Mobility, India has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Motorola Flipout, an Android 2.1 OS based phone in India. As per the date of announcement, the phone has landed in major retail mobile stores in India at a price of Rs. 15,990. Based on new Android 2.1 OS, Motorola smartphone “Flipout” is a cool choice for people who are young at heart and desire smart and advanced features in their handset. It’s Motoblur and QWERTY keypad features will handle User Interface of this handset to let it work smoothly. It is a QWERTY phone which slides out, which is why it called as Flipout.

Motorola FlipoutAndroid OS was originally developed by Google and later it became an Open Handset Alliance (OHA). It is a consortium of 50 software, hardware and telecom companies. Therefore, now the developers can design various unique applications which may be downloaded on any mobile handset. Over 70,000 applications covering games, music, and location-based services may be used. Android based Motorola Flipout will truly light this festive season. Coming on to the specifications of Motorola's Flipout, its most highlighted features revealed are its 2.8 inch wide display with 320X420 pixels resolution, HSDPA 900 / 2100 MHz network based 3G capabilities, 3.1 megapixel camera, expandable memory to upto 32GB, Wi Fi, and access to Google services.

Motorola Flipout to launch in November first week in India

The new Android 2.1 OS based Motorola smartphone “Flipout” will soon be out in India, most probably by first week of November. The device will also incorporate Motorola's Motoblur for handling User Interface work.Motorola Flipout is a flip phone as suggested by its name and thus boasts of a slide (also called as a flip). This function reveals the full five row QWERTY keypad when used.

November first week is the festive time here and it will be co-incide with launch of Motorola Flipout and many more mobile handsets. In fact, pre-orders are already being taken for the phone.

For connectivity, there is USB 2.0 HS and Wi-Fi, For messaging, there is MMS, SMS, Email (Corporate Sync, POP3, IMAP, Push Email) and Instant Messaging.

With physical dimensions of 67.00 x 67.00 x 17.00 mm and weight just 120 grams, Motorola FLIPOUT will be available in White, Fairway Green, Poppy Red, Raspberry Crush, Brilliant Blue, Licorice and Saffron colors. Priced at Rs.15,299, phone best price may differ slightly. Motorola Charm may also launch with Flipout, but nothing is certain.

Motorola announces Android based four new samrtphones

This is indeed a joyful moment for Motorola mobile lovers. Reason? Motorola has announced four new handsets, all smartphones to be launched soon, Each of these four new Motorola phones has a distinct set of features and are all Android-based. In fact, one of them, the Motorola Droid Pro, an Android smartphone is totally capable of conquering the BlackBerry mobiles phone market. The Droid Pro runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and boasts a built-in QWERTY keypad with a 3.1-inch touchscreen.

The in built 5-megapixel photo snapper just is another jewel in its star-studded specs list. Like Blackberry smartphones, it will also let its users read and edit Microsoft Office documents. The phone is also designed for business travel, with radios for both CDMA and GSM networks and also on their 3G variants.
