Cheap dual SIM Nokia C1 00 and Nokia C2 mobiles launched in India

Nokia mobiles, India have just announced the launch of C1 00 and C2 from the C Series line up and the striking feature of these cheap mobiles is that they are Dual-SIM phones.The phones are aimed at the low-end market in developing countries.



Nokia C1-00 that runs on Series 30 user interface is a dual SIM device with color screen and is available in red, blue, grey and green colors. It has a powerful battery with stand by time of 6 weeks besides an array of multimedia capabilities like FM radio with 3.5mm audio jack, VGA camera and flashlight. It is very pocketable with 73gm weight and 15mm thickness. It can accomodate 500 phone book entries
and 250 messages.



Nokia C2 also sports a FM radio and VGA camera. Besides that, its address book would be large enough to accommodate 1,000 entries. It also have an in-built LED torch. Extremely useful applications such as Nokia Life Tools services and
Ovi Mail are also integrated in both these handsets.

Nokia C series are the best and latest cheap mobile phones with some really advanced features like dual SIM’s.



The Nokia C1-00, Nokia C1-01, Nokia C1-02 and the Nokia C2 will be priced between Rs.1,700 to 2,500.These are pretty economical and laid with good features as well. These will be launched soon in Indian mobile market, most probably by next quarter of 2010.

Nokia C1-00 is a basic entry-level dual-SIM phone that weighs around 72.9 grams. Its battery is robust with 6 weeks on standby and around 13 hours of talk time.It works on Symbian Series 3 OS

Its other cool features includes 0.3 Megapixel VGA Camera with video recording, MP3 Player and FM Radio. It supports Dual-band GSM 900/1800 MHz.



Nokia C1-01 is another low cost feature phone with an estimated retail price of Rs.2,250. This candybar phone runs on similar OS and enjoys similar features The add on features includes Nokia’s Ovi Life tools which gives quick access to information pertaining to educational tools and entertainment news, besides a new feature called as Nokia Money which enables Mobile Banking.

Nokia C1-02 priced at Rs.2,050 is even more affordable but misses a camera in it. Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat are enabled on it.

Nokia C2 is candybar dual-SIM phone from Nokia.One can receive calls from both SIM cards at the same time and the second SIM is hot-swappable. Nokia C2 also enables a wide range Nokia’s Ovi Life Tools. It will be priced at Rs.2,600.

It is expected to launch a little late and will be available in Q4, 2010.
