Reliance rolls out HTC Wildfire in India

This one is eagerly awaited touchscreen phone from HTC. HTC mobile has tied up with Reliance Mobile (GSM) to launch and give HTC Widfire users and exclusive offer. HTC’s Wildfire is a superior replacement to HTC Tattoo. It is announced for the Indian market and any or all Reliance Mobile GSM subscribers who would upgrade to Wildfire will be eligible to 500MB worth of free data every month for initial six months.



HTC Wildfire supports 3G that will take advantage of 3G services expected this year.It runs on a 528MHz processor with Android 2.1 with HTC Sense user interface. It has a 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM memory.

It also sports a 3.2-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen. Its 5MP camera with LED flash, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, optical joystick, Digital compass are its other awesome features.Its robust 1300mAh battery, 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card slot makes it a good choice.
HTC Wildfire price is Rs. 16,590 and the mobile is available at all authorized HTC retailers.

HTC Desire and HTC Wildfire may be launched together soon

The HTC Desire was about to be launched in India in May 2010 but the buzz now is that it will be made available with HTC Wildfire in Q3 of 2010. The HTC Desire price will be around Rs.25000-30000 and the HTC Wildfire might fall in Rs.15000-20000. Black, Brown, White, Red colors will be available in HTC Wildfire and has Android v2.1 operating system.



The HTC Wildfire is a 3.2” TFT, 16M capacitive touchscreen phone with Java features like Digital compass, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter integration, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Picasa integration. It is 3G enabled in HSDPA 900/2100 configuration. It is sleek and stylish as its dimensions fall in 106.8 x 60.4 x 12 mm.



Wildfire will be endowed with Stereo FM radio and will play audio in MP3/AAC+/WAV/WMA9 and MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV9 formats. It also has an awesome 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus, LED flash camera with geotagging and smile detection features. Its storage capacity is fine and connectivity options are superb. It has Class 10 GPRS and EDGE and stereo Bluetooth.
