Nokia N8, Nokia C3 to launch in India by September followed by Nokia C6

Nokia, India will launch its high-end smartphone Nokia N8 in mid of September, 2010 along with mid-range QWERTY phone from Nokia, the Nokia C3. For the other C series mobile handset from Nokia, the Nokia C6, people will have to wait till October, 2010.

One may remember Nokia N8 as fully-armed multimedia handset with 12MP camera capable of 720p HD video recording. This is its highlight as its HDMI-out enables users to hook N8 to HDTV. The phone has a solid design with aluminium case and sports 3.5-inch capactive AMOLED touchscreen. Its internal storage stands at 16GB and is upgradeable via microSD slot. It works undisturbed at a refurbished Symbian 3 operating system with multi-touch support for the functioning of browser and photo viewer. The Nokia N8 price will approximately be Rs. 25,000.

Nokia C3 will also land by September in India at a very affordable Price, Rs. 7000.It is a full QWERTY mobile handset which runs on S40 OS and sports 2.4 inches display. It also packs good multimedia features such as 2MP camera, FM radio and 3.5mm stereo headphones jack. It is also Wi Fi enabled.

Nokia C6 that will be able to hit the Indian mobile stores only by October is a affordable version of Nokia N97 mini. This trendy phone lacks 16 GB storage given in N97 but has all other features of that handset like a 5MP camera with autofocus, a 3.5-inch resistive touchsreen and a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. At a price of Rs 15,000, C6 will be among the most affordable smartphones in India.
