
Desire is quite similar to Google Nexus One in most of its features and performance. HTC has made this phone based on Andoird 2.1 operating system and speedy 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Despite its high segment price tag, Desire attracts buyers on its awesome features such as 3.7-inch AMOLED display screen working on HTC's Sense UI. The Desire has 576MB of RAM and performs video recording at WVGA resolution (800*480) at 15fps. HTC Desire also has an optical track-pad for smooth navigation. For Indian users,the Desire comes with a FM radio.
There is an all-advanced 5 megapixel camera and the support for multi touch gestures. The handset facilitates Tata DOCOMO post-paid customers by giving facility of downloading 500 MB of data per month for 6 months. The smartphone will be available all across retail counters in India.
