Nokia C6 and Nokia E5 launched in India

Nokia C6 priced at Rs.15,200 in India is the latest launched smartphone from Nokia mobiles.The Nokia C6 is smartphone with slider and many cool social networking features. It is look alike of the Nokia N97 Mini,a Nokia smartphone released sometime back in 2010. The Nokia C6 comprises of a Qwerty keypad with buttons arranged in three consecutive rows below its 3.2 inch wide touchscreen. The looks, design and form of Nokia C6 is quite an improved one over its predecessor as its internal memory is which now stands at 200Mb.

The Nokia C6 is light weight, just 150 grams and has an impressive built-in 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, Carl/Zeiss lens and flash support. Other connectivity features are HSDPA 3G support and UMTS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. Nokia E5 price in India is Rs.12,699 officially and it is now launched
in the country. The E5 launch was announced besides Nokia C3 and Nokia
C6 few months back and has launched with Nokia C6 now. The Nokia E5 is economically priced stylish smartphone with QWERTY keypad and runs on Symbian OS. It also comprises of 5 MP Camera and abundant connectivity options viz. 3G, Wi-Fi , Bluetooth and its specifications indicate a GSM talk time of 13 hours. Its display is 2.4 inches and displays 256k colors. The very light weighted Nokia E5
is just 126gm light and is available in Carbon Black, Chalk White, Sky Blue, Copper Brown and Silver Grey colors. To keep its users entertained, it offers stereo FM radio with RDS and in built MP3 and MP4 player.

The musical effect is augmented via its inherent stereo speakers and an audio jack of 3.5mm. The Nokia E5 facilitates capturing of videos that can be easily stored in its internal memory of 250 MB storage and the card slot is microSD (TransFlash), up to 32GB. It also gives ample space for assimilating data as in videos, music files and documents. The Nokia E5 has the basic wireless connectivity via WLAN is in the configuration of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, DLNA. All the other advanced messaging and connectivity features are incorporated in Nokia E5. These are SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and IM and Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE. The handset is 3G enabled with HSDPA 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA 2.0 Mbps. Nokia E5 navigation is enabled with A-GPS support with free Nokia Ovi maps. There are productivity applications from Nokia's online Ovi Store, networking and entertainment capabilities in Nokia E5.

Nokia upcoming mobile phones in India

Nokia has plans to launch a number of smartphones mainly under its C series and N series. The phones shall be launched in this year. Most of them are economically priced.These are Nokia C5, Nokia C3, Nokia C6, Nokia C1, Nokia C1-00, Nokia C1-02, Nokia E5, Nokia X2 and Nokia N8.

Nokia E5 runs on Symbian OS v9.3, Series 60 rel. 3.2 and this full QWERTY phone is available in Carbon Black, Chalk White, Sky Blue, Copper Brown, Silver Grey.It has a robust 1200 mAh battery and 5MP camera. It has 3G and WLAN features in configuration of HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, UPnP & DLNA technology respectively.



It is expected to release in Q3 of 2010 at an approximate price of Rs.11,110.

Nokia X2 is expected to release in India by end of June 2010 with some great multimedia features at a price as low as Rs.5000. Nokia X2 is laid with features like 5MP camera and video recorder, Ovi Player PC client or Windows Media Player 11 with dual speakers and dedicated music keys.



Nokia N8 running on Symbian 3 software is Nokia’s upcoming flagship handset with a 12 megapixel camera, 3.5-inch touchscreen and shall be bought at Rs.23,000 by end of 2010.



Nokia C series newly launched mobile phones C1 and C2 are both Dual SIM phones. C1 series phone come in three variants Nokia C1-00, Nokia C1-01 and Nokia C1-02.



The trio C1 variants are priced between Rs.2100 to 2300.Since Nokia C2 is a liitle more feature laid so is priced at a higher price of Rs.3000 -3150.

Nokia C1-00 running on Series 30 is a dual SIM device available in red, blue, grey and green colors. It has a powerful battery with stand by time of six weeks besides an array of multimedia capabilities like FM radio with 3.5mm audio jack, Flashlight.It is very pocketable with 73gm weight and can accomodate 500 phone book entries and 250 messages.



Both Nokia C1-01 and Nokia C2-02 running on series 40 OS allows dual band ECSM and GSM communications and GPRS for data.C1-01 is slightly costlier than C1-02.



Both C1-01 and C1-02 have bright color screens, microSD,web browsing, photography,32 GB music , Bluetooth, GPRS, Nokia Messaging and email. Nokia C1-01 snapshots with built-in VGA camera. Nokia C1-02 possess same features Ovi Mail, Chat Bluetooth, MicroSD, and music.

Nokia C2 has active dual SIM functionality in various colors. It runs on Series 40 with 1000 phone book entries and offers 16.5 days of standby time. Nokia C2 is energized by one hot-swappable battery.



Nokia C series phone are expected to launch in third quarter of 2010.
