Nokia C1 & C2, cheap dual SIM mobiles to launch soon in India

There are many low-priced dual SIM mobiles available in Indian handset market these days. Be it Karbonn, Spice or Oscar, all the new brands are launching a number of dual SIM mobile phones at a very economical price. Now, its Nokia’s turn to follow the trend and handset-making giant is ready with its cheap dual SIM phones called as Nokia C1 and Nokia C2 to be launched in India by Q3 of 2010. These phones would give some serious competition to the newly released dual SIM handsets from Samsung. As a matter of fact, Samsung India has launched 5 new dual SIM models in India in the range of Rs.3200 to Rs.9600.

Both entry-level Nokia dual SIM phones will be launched simultaneously within two-three months. Interestingly, they will be very affordable as their price will fall in the low-price segment i.e below a price tag of Rs.2500. Yet, they will have an array of impressive features.

Nokia C1 & C2 would sport a FM radio and VGA camera. Besides that, their address book would be large enough to accommodate 1,000 entries. It will also have an in-built LED torch. Luxury stuff such as Nokia Life Tools service and Ovi Mail will also be integrated in these handsets.

The exact price or MOP and whether these handsets will be made at Nokia’s Chennai facility are some facts that are not yet revealed by the company.
