Nokia C-series cheap, dual SIM mobiles C1 & C2 to land in India soon

In the flood of affordable dual SIM mobiles in India, now the new entrants are from the most credible company, Nokia. The news is that Nokia will launch its cheap dual SIM mobile handsets under the tag of C-series by 3rd quarter of 2010. The mobile handsets called as Nokia C1 and Nokia C2 will attract many buyers as they are a great combination of good price and impressive features.

They will fall in the low-price segment and will cost not more than Rs.3000. Yet, they will facilitate good multimedia functionality via in-built VGA camera, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. The connectivity features are also quite likeable. There is a Bluetooth and GPRS integrated inside both Nokia C1 and C2.Nokia life tool services that keep users informed about health, entertainment and weather conditions is facilitated and Ovi mail can also be activated in Nokia C1 and Nokia C2.The memory is expandable via a microSD cardupto 32GB in Nokia C2 which is one of its kind in this price segment.

There are some minor differences as well in the two handsets. One difference lies in their SIM functions. While Nokia C1 keeps its one SIM active at a time though switches fastly between the two, Nokia C2 manages to keep both the SIMs active at the same time. Its hot-swappable SIM is its another highlight and a feature that is first ever introduced in any of the mobiles around the world. Nokia C1 has a smashing standby of 48 days against 16.5 days of Nokia C2.

These handsets are really the most awaited and Nokia shall launch them soon and this will be followed by the launch of another unique gadget from Nokia, its "bicycle charging kit".
