‘N’ number of companies are entering in Indian handset market and launching cheap mobiles. Just as Micromax, Fly and Karbonn, one more company has entered the ever-expanding and flourishing Indian handset market. Weston, a consumer electronics firm has decided to launch cheap low-priced mobile phones in India. Seven handsets will be launched initially whose price range will be between Rs.1600 to Rs.3500.
Weston will set up a mobile manufacturing facility in Dehradun for the same and it will become operational by next year. The Indian handset market is already full with many companies but yet it is still attracting more. Even Weston has plans to make 250 crore sales with mobile handset sales by next year in India.
The handsets will particularly be launched in Northern and Eastern regions of India. All the cheap mobile phones from Weston will be made keeping in mind the feature to price ratio.
