Weston Consumer Electronics to launch mobiles in India

The low-price cheap mobiles market is booming in India. The Indian handset market has seen ‘n’ number of companies entering it and launching cheap mobiles. Micromax, Karbonn and Fly to name a few have come up with low-priced handset which have become popular also. Next in the queue is Consumer Electronics company “Weston”. Known earlier in India for its television sets, Weston is now all set to launch its mobile handsets in India.

WestonWeston mobiles will be priced in a range of Rs.1600 to Rs.3500 and initially seven models will be launched, particularly in Northern and Eastern regions Of India. Weston has plans to take its sales figure to Rs.250 crore in the coming year from its latest venture. Weston will also set up a new facility for mobile handset anufacturing at Dehradun which will become operational by next year.
