Oscar has announced the launch of ten mobiles in Indian handset market priced between Rs.1700 to Rs.4500. The launch will be seen in Northern and Eastern India initially and then in other regions.

The model N1 is the entry-level Oscar handset that comes with a vibration speaker. The higher end Ocsar model is Z1 that comes pre-loaded with Qwerty Keypad and runs on fast processor and comes with a front and back camera, unheard of at that price point. The vision of Oscar to introduce the most affordable handsets in India is keeping in mind the features to price ratio of these mobiles as over 50% Indians use ultra low cost handsets. There aim is to reach a turnover of 1000 crores.
