Sony Ericsson introduces Xpria-X8, Cedar and Yendo in India

Sony Ericsson, one of the major mobile handset manufacturer in India, has introduced new Xpria-X8, Cedar and Yendo smartphones in India. The new three models of mobile phones working based on different platforms and known as the entry-level of handsets for 3G. The company launched Sony Ericsson Xpria-X8 entertainment smartphone on Android platform, another newly launched handset, Sony Ericsson Yendo is coming with full touch walkman, besides Cedar is also basic entry level model for 3G device.

The new models will be available in India at the stores from next month of this current year. The company has decided to start 3G service devices in India and with affordable range. Anurag Kunto, Marketing head of Sony Ericsson India said, "We continue to offer an amalgamation of communication and entertainment by fusing together best quality touchscreen experience, in the second half of the year.

" Sony Ericsson has posted 1,000 point of sales in western region (Gujarat and Maharashtra) and also close to 4,000 point of sales across the country. Sony Ericsson is planning to reach at 100,000 million GSM handsets sales in the Indian market in 2010. the company is also looking for their future expansion plans to launch more handsets in the Indian market.
