Audi A8 to launch on 4th February

The most promising and awaited sedan from Audi's stable is all set to stun the Indian roads with its incredible luxury standards. The supper stunning Audi A8 is going to launch on 4th February 2011. The German manufacturer comes up with its beautiful model on Indian roads will give the straight competition to Mercedes S-class BMW 7-series. The mind blowing exteriors of the car will certainly catch the people's eyes and make then fall in love with it. The interiors of the car is very comfortable and spacious and it sets a benchmark in the world of luxury cars. The exteriors of this car have a basic resemblance of Audi family, a resemblance people would die for. The new and high technology in the superb model is commendable.


The front view of the model have an normal looks and the back view of Audi A8 have a hint of Audi A4. The entire body of Audi A8 is made up of aluminium which put the car in relatively lesser weight. Though the car is powered with nominal engine still it delivers excellent acceleration. The Audi A8 has been employed by hi-tec engine which based on diesel and petrol engine. The diesel engine of Audi A8 is powered with 3.0 V6 Tdi with 240 bhp which was not in Audi A4, Audi Q5 and Audi A6. There is one more engine option is available in Audi A8 and that is 4.2 V8 Tdi diesel unit with 350bhp which is also found in Audi Q5. As far as petrol version is concerned it has been expected to introduced with 4.2 DOHC V8 FSI.


The engine will be mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission with usual four-wheel drive. The torque between back wheels is split by the sport differential option. Well, if we talk about the safety features they are tremendous as the car has been equipped with a feature named pre-sense which stops the hazard lights, pre tension the seat belts, closes the windows and sunroof in case the breaks are fully applied. These intelligent safety features promises the great safety.
