Slow or fast, in a city or between two cities, Aprilia or Vespa… Piaggio is coming back to the Indian market with two of its best brands. Vespa LX125 is a shooting star in the arena of scooters and Aprilia is a supernova in the motorcycle galaxy. If we look back through last 20 years, we can see all the victories won by Aprilia. Aprilia won the Motorcycle Championship 33 times, MotoGP World Championship 254 times and Superbike championship 8 times. Maybe they should consider changing its name from Aprilia to Camarilla. In 2009 Superbike World Championship, Piaggio joined the race with Aprilia RSV4 and finished the race season as the 4th team. RSV4 has a very compact 999.6 cc engine.
If this was an article telling about all the new advancements in motorbike technology, everything we wrote would be a part of Aprilia RSV4. There are two different versions of RSV4. Factory and RSV4 R. We hope to see both of these bikes at the Mumbai International Motor Show along with the new limited edition Vespa LX 125 which is the first pink scooter manufactured by Piaggio. The RSV4 also has a very large range of accessories. We hope to see the full range of accessories for RSV4 at the show.
Starting from mid 1940’s Aprilia and Vespa bikes are on the roads all over the world. Now once again they are ready to conquer India. In the Mumbai International Motor Show we will only check out the different models. However next year we will have a chance to ride one.
