Sharp India, the new company to join the mobile handset foray in India launched 4 mobile phones in November, 2010 that included the
Sharp Alice, Sharp Tango, Sharp Blink and Sharp Cyborg retailing at a price of $180, $380, $138, $360 respectively. The Sharp Alice is a dual SIM enabled full 2.8 inches TFT resistive touch screen phone with powerful front facing speakers, a 3MP camera and a G-sensor. The Alice phone has Bluetooth and a USB cable for data transfer, stereo FM radio, video player, video recorder and an expandable memory. It supports GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi but has no 3G capabilities. It comes in red and black colors.

Sharp Tango is a dual SIM flip Smartphone that operates GSM and HSDPA frequencies, has a 2.9 inches TFT resistive touch screen with a 5MP camera, a G-sensor and pedometer which can be used for fitness applications. The phone comes with an expandable capacity of up to 16GB. The tango is 3G compatible and supports GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi with Bluetooth, USB, and a stereo FM radio and can play music in different formats. It comes in the colors gold, white and pink.
