Gigabyte GSmart G1310 is a dual sim device using Android 2.2 a.k.a Froyo. It comes with 3.2-inch TFT screen, and also has 320x480 (HVGA) pixel resolutions with a touchscreen interface.Accessories like GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connectivity, FM radio module and e-compass are other highlights. The 3 megapixel camera used by the GsmartRola is replaced by 5 megapixel autofocus camera. They come in two color options, champagne gold and pearl white.
Sim1 and sim2 has GSM 2G network 850/900/1800/1900 and GSM 850/1800/1900 respectively. Processor used is CPU QUALCOMM MSM7225-1 528 MHz processor, which is in fact the only flaw in the design of this smartphone. Gigabyte GSmart G1310 has 3G support network HSDPA 2100. Messaging possible by SMS, MMS and email, the browser is HTML. Its memory phonebookand call records has practically unlimited entries and fields. Photo call facility, speaker phone and 3.5mm audio jack is also worth mentioning. Since it is having a 3.5 mm headset jack you can connect the universally available audio jacks, so you need to search for the company specified jacks if in need of a spare piece. Gigabyte GSmart G1310 has internal 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM also expandable up to 32GB using card slot micro SD.Games are present and are downloadable too. Java support, social networking integration, Google search, Google map, Gmail, Google talk, YouTube, document viewer, photo viewer, photo editor, organizer, voice memo and predictive text input are other features worth mentioning. The dimensions of the phone are 1135x60x129 mm and is equipped with 1260 mAh Li-Polymer battery.
The design of Gigabyte GSmart G1310 is similar to one of the first models. Expert reviews so far has been astonishing. Though Gigabyte mobile phones are not very common in India, this smartphone in android 2.2 platform is expected to ring the market and is likely to give a tough competition to other popular smartphone makers like Samsung and HTC.
