A sibling of Yamaha's big R series, Yamaha R125 will be loaded with Liquid-cooled single-cylinder 4-stroke engine and displacement of the bike might be 125cc. This engine of the bike is to produce maximum power of 14.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and cranks out top torque of 12.2 NM at 8,000 rpm with the help of six speed gearbox. The twin spar Deltabox designed bike will be equipped fatter tyres which give it sporty and crazy image.
The expected Yamaha R125 would be loaded with latest features and eye-catchy cum sporty appearance. The bike would be installed with advanced specifications and will be available in Burning Blue, Sports White, Impact Yellow and Midnight black body colour.
There is no official announcement but after the recent launch of its supersports Yamaha FZ 1 and commuter Yamaha SZ R, the company might empower its mark in 125cc bike segment. If the bike might be launched in the market, it would be major competitor of Honda CBF Stunner, Suzuki slingshot and Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme in terms of power and performance. It is expected that the company will introduce this High build quality bike in the first or second quarter of year 2011.
