Kawasaki Ninja reaches 1000 sales mark in India

Kawasaki Ninja 250R, World's largest selling 250cc bike, has been sold 1000 units through Bajaj Pro-biking sales outlets across the country. The Ninja 250R also becomes the first Multi cylinder Super sports bike in India. Bajaj Auto's presently has 32 state-of-art showrooms across 30 cities in India. The event also coincided with the commencement of operations of “India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd” (IKM), the fully owned subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Japan.The Kawasaki Ninja 250R comes loaded with Four stroke, DOHC, liquid cooling machine that is delivers superb output of 31 Bhp power at 10500rpm while produces maximum torque of 22 Nm at 9,500 rpm with its 249cc displacement.

It is also incorporated with 6 speed manual transmission system. The fuel tank capacity of Ninja 250R is fitted with 18.2 litre along with 4.8 litre in reserve. Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Tanigawa, MD IKM, said “The launch of Kawasaki Ninja 250R has been a great success and the sales of the bike has exceeded our expectations.
