Six new LG CDMA mobile handsets launched in India

LG Mobiles, India has launched six new CDMA handsets for the Indian market viz. LG 6160, LG 6210, LG 6300, LG 6400, LG 510 and LG 235. These new handsets are low end phones priced at not more than 8000 INR and have all the features and capability to meet the basic requirements of users such as that of entertainment, connectivity and messaging.

LG 6160 is the first one to be added in the kitty. This new handset features to match to its price which is tagged at Rs. 2,649. The multimedia features in LG 6160 are MP3 player with 3.5mm jack and FM Radio with recording. The phone also has a torch. Its memory is expandable to up to 4GB and phone enjoys a good battery backup. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth and the handset supports Hindi language.

Next in the league is LG 6210 launched in Buzz category and packs entertainment features such as FM radio, VGA camera and MP3 player with preset equalizers. The memory is expandable and for data transfer there is Bluetooth, The specialized features of LG 6120 are its FM sleep timer that switch off the radio at a set time.FM & MP3 playlist can be used as background score while user is playing with some other feature of the phone. There are ‘n’ useful tools in the economical handset priced at Rs.2,999 such as Body Mass Index, EMI calculator and Panchang.

The LG 6300, a music-oriented phone is priced at higher price of Rs. 4749 and packs features such as 2.1 channel active sub-woofer and stereo speakers for incredible sound. It also has a 2MP camera, MP3 player, Wireless FM with recording/editing and Bluetooth to flaunt.

LG 6400 is another multimedia CDMA handset priced at Rs.4,435 that sports 1.3MP camera, FM and MP3 player. There are video recording, FM recording features in the phone that also has a 3.5mm jack, 4GB expandable memory. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth & built-in modem. The phone offers Hindi-English support and a great battery life. LG Cookie Spark or LG 235 is a low range CDMA handset that can be fetched at Rs. 5,898. It has a 5MP camera, Wi Fi and One touch SNS capability.

LG Cookie Zip also referred to as LG 510 is a CDMA handset with full touchscreen and world class browsing and social networking support. It is priced at Rs. 8000 and gives access to Net for entertainment purpose.
