Nokia X3 Touch and Type announced

Although, the release date, availability and price is still in dark. Nokia, mobile making giant, has just announced that it will come up with reasonably priced multimedia handset, the Nokia X3 Touch and Type or Nokia X3-02. The X3-02 is a music-based phone with a 2.4-inch touchscreen. Strangely, it comes packed with good features but a traditional alphanumeric keyboard. This is Nokia’s first attempt to bring out such combination in the handset market.



X3 Touch and Type is come packed with great features. It is thin and lightweight as it weighs just 78gm and is 9.6mm thick. It is supported on quad band and facilitates 3G, HSPA and Wi-Fi on it as well. It has a music player and an FM radio for the music lovers. There are dedicated music and messaging keys.The imaging capturing is handled by it in-built 5-megapixel camera which supports 4x zoom (digital). It is capable of capturing videos.

Ovi Music Unlimited can be accessed in some countries on the phone which means a library of over 11 million tracks can be listened to. For data storage, memory is expandable up to 16GB via a MicroSD memory card slot. The X3 T&T has robust battery which offers 5 hours of talk time and can remain in standby mode for upto 17 days. X3-02 would be available in aluminium finish and five basic colors at an approximate price of Rs.7500.
