
The New higher engine capacity model will be the first from the company after a gap of more than three years. It is also reported the new version will compete with Kawasaki Ninja 250R in engine power that will also be available with 250cc displacement. Bajaj Auto says it's targeting for selling a million units of the Pulsar in the current financial years with the added primarily new entry-level Pulsar 135cc.

The company has discontinued production of Bajaj Discover 135cc, after launching the higher version of Discover with 150cc displacement. The demands of 150-250cc motorcycles are growing extremely well in the auto market. Apart from that launch, Indian motorcycles lovers will see more launches in India that includes Suzuki Gladius, TVS Apache 220cc, Honda Interceptor and Kawasaki Ninja.
