Mahindra 2-wheeler, India's one of the leading two-wheeler producer, is all set to launch the new bike soon in India. The company is presently selling four models in the Indian auto market including Mahindra Duro, Rodeo, Kine and Sym Flyte. The all gear-less Scooters of the company are performing extremely well in the market. According to some news sources, Mahindra 2-wheeler is going to launch the new motorcycles in India by next year.
The new bike will be marketed under the Mahindra brand. Anoop Mathur, president of Mahindra two-Wheelers, said, “We have achieved a milestone by selling one lakh scooters in just 10 months as against a set target of 18 months. Our plan now is to enter the motor-cycle market by end-this year. The company is also working on a unique product that will be assembled in the same plant where our scooters are manufactured. In 2008, Mahindra Group was bought Italy-based Engines and the company is creating new motorcycle at its Italy-based engines Engineering.
Mahindra two-wheelers all manufacturing units like Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. are producing nearly 5-6 lakh scooters yearly. The new bike will compete with another premium motorcycles like Bajaj Discover 150cc, Honda CB Dazzler, Yamaha Fazer etc. Meanwhile, TVS Max, Suzuki Gladius, TVS Apache 220 and Kawasaki Ninja 650r are the upcoming bikes in India.
