Nokia has announced its latest series of Nokia 5228, this phone is almost similar to the Nokia 5235 series, but the Nokia 5288 series is not equipped with GPS navigation systems and connections to the network. Nokia 5230 and 5228 also uses hardware and software that is using the same 3.2-inch resistive touch screen 360 x 640 pixel resolution, 2 megapixel camera with video recorder.Nokia 5228 uses Symbian v9.4 (Series 60 rel 5), supports network connectivity to the EDGE, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP and microUSB port is equipped also with an audio jack and 3.5 mm, 70 MB memory expandable via a microSD card slot that can capacity to accommodate up to 16 GB.
Nokia 5228 uses Li-Ion Battery 1320 mAh which is claimed to be able to play music non-stop until 33 hours or up to 4 hours when playing videos, the phone also can standby for 18 days and up to 7 hours of talk time. Nokia 5228 will be available in two color versions, black and white. Nokia 5228 is on sale in July with a price of 139 Euros
