Mahindra to rollout a bike in India
Mahindra and Mahindra, Major four wheeler maker of India has entered in two wheeler segment with launch of four scooters in the market like Mahindra Duro, Rodeo, flyte and Mahindra Kine. After getting good response from scooters now it is going to launch a bike in India.
The company displayed concept bikes at Delhi Auto Expo, 2010. This upcoming Mahindra bike will be entry-level bike and compete with Bajaj Platina and Hero Honda CD bikes. But its whole body look gives it amazing look. Mahindra bike will have china's imported 120cc engine, which generates peak power of 53hp and maximum torque of 32Nm. The bike will have platform of Kinetic Boss and is code named as A02.
The brakes of the bike are drum type and suspensions are strong. The silencer of this bike is equipped with amazing short and thin style. Mahindra bike might have large capacity fuel tank that is 13.5 litters.
It will be good bike for the middle class family because its expected price of Rs. 35000 to 40000 only in the Indian market.
Meanwhile another major bike maker Suzuki has launched its cruiser bikes in India like Suzuki Bandit 1250S and Suzuki GSX R1000. Piaggio has also announced to re-introduce Vespa LX125 scooter in India.
