KTM RC8 to hit Indian roads by the end of this year

Australian based KTM bikes which is world's major superbike maker is going to launch it's new bike named as KTM RC8 in Indian market via bajaj Pro-biking. Bajaj-KTM has already announced the launch. Now the KTM will launch its superbike and moto cross bikes in India.

The KTM RC8 is a sports bike having ultimate performance in all fields. This bike will be loaded with liquid cooled powertrain and displacement of 999cc. The engine of the bike generates peak power of 135bhp at 9600rpm and maximum power of 120rpm. The KTM RC8 is coming with 6 Speed transmission and it has maximum speed of 174kmph.

Front and rear look of the KTM RC8's is stylish like short size tank, front cowl in short size, wind sheet and horizontal and sharp rear tail lamp make it different. Without graphics, the fuel tank looks amazing. The seat of this bike is different as other superbikes. Plastic front and rear fender also offers stunning looks.

The both brake of the bike's are disc front and rear and wheels are five spoke alloy. Latest technology loaded silencer and stylish suspension of the bike are attractive.

The KTM RC8 is blessed with digital fuel guage, Tripmeter, Speedometer but tachometer is analogue. other features of it's are not disclosed.

The available colours of the bike are not announced but expected price is 16 laks in India. But this superbike will be available by the end of year 2010.

Meanwhile another major bike maker such as Suzuki has launched its cruiser bikes in India like Suzuki Bandit 1250S and Suzuki GSX R1000. Piaggio has also announced to re-introduce Vespa LX125 scooter in India.
