During the launch of Samsung Star Nano 3G, Director- Mobile IT, Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Mr Ranjit Yadav said, “The launch of Star Nano 3G is significant as it represents our most affordable 3G touch screen handset as well as strengthens our portfolio of 3G enabled handsets as the country gears up for the roll-out of 3G services very soon.”
The Samsung Company calls Samsung Star Nano 3G phone as ‘My first 3G touch phone’. This phone is called Corby 3G in Russia. The company thought that as there are already many Corby’s in India, so a new name should be given. That is why, this phone was given the name of Nano 3G.
